Week of Legacy to Culture Celebrates Art and Legacy

The Week of Legacy to Culture has begun, and Introdans is delighted to participate once again this year. From October 30 to November 5, 2023, Introdans joins the series of events and activities taking place across the country. On October 30, Introdans, along with Theater Oostpool, Phion, Paleis Het Loo, and the Kröller-Müller Museum, is organizing a special information afternoon about legacy.

Dance, Music, and Exhibition
The information afternoon, taking place from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kröller-Müller Museum, promises to be an engaging and culturally enriching experience focusing on legacy to culture. Visitors can enjoy a unique fusion of art forms, including various presentations by the different cultural institutions, an introduction by business director Marieke van ’t Hoff, music by Phion, a performance of La Morte del Cigno by Introdans dancer Jillis Roshanali, and a lecture by candidate notary Anne Laarhuis from Dirkzwager. Afterwards, visitors will have the opportunity to visit the exhibition “First Comes Love for Art. Art & Project” at the Kröller-Müller Museum. This offers visitors an extra dimension and insight into the value of art and cultural heritage.

Legacy to Introdans

Many generations and target groups enjoy our performances and activities throughout their lives. Give future generations the same opportunity by including Introdans in your will. There are several ways to do this. Watch the video below!

About the Legacy to Culture campaign

The Nalaten aan Cultuur Foundation aims to increase awareness of the possibilities of leaving a legacy to culture for everyone in the Netherlands. They do this by developing a platform and organizing awareness campaigns. Additionally, the foundation seeks to enhance knowledge about legacy fundraising among professionals in the cultural sector.

The foundation strives to achieve nationwide distribution of cultural organizations and to give both established and emerging institutions the opportunity to connect to this platform. The platform provides an overview of all participating cultural institutions, allowing for direct personal contact. This way, people can allocate their support and legacies to the arts and culture they cherish most.

During the Week of Legacy to Culture, the value of culture and art is emphasized and encouraged, both for the current generation and for future generations. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to explore and support art, heritage, and leaving a legacy to culture.
