Introdans brings the season to a festive close with End of Season 2027: a sparkling dance evening filled with audience favorites and gems from the repertoire that have lost none of their beauty or expressive power. Featuring works by Hans van Manen, Inbal Pinto, and Lucinda Childs, among others, it promises to be a night full of humor, imagination, and virtuosity. This year is extra special thanks to live music by Orkest Phion. A sizzling finale to the season that sends the audience into summer full of joy for life and the pleasure of dance.
The programme includes, among others, the group pieces Black Cake by Hans van Manen, a party with humor and a playful touch, Rushes by Inbal Pinto, an extraordinary game of musical chairs, and the swinging minimalist Chairman Dances by Lucinda Childs.

Hans van Manen – Black Cake | 1989
Is it a chic party, or does it only seem that way? The dancers entertain themselves with champagne, humour and a touch of sarcasm. Hans van Manen created this choreography especially for the 30th anniversary of Nederlands Danstheater. This special “anniversary cake” has been part of the Introdans repertoire since 2003.
Inbal Pinto – Rushes | 2009
Long live imagination. Choreographer Inbal Pinto creates a game of musical chairs that is anything but ordinary. Six dancers sweep the audience along at high speed in their light-footed play. Comic, quirky and moving, a slapstick with a serious undertone. What do you carry with you?
Lucinda Childs – Chairman Dances | 2000
A spatial dance celebration by Lucinda Childs, set to the eponymous composition by John Adams. The dancers surrender to a fascinating interplay with Adams’ swinging minimal music. The repeating movements create a magical, poetic effect, while also revealing impressive virtuosity and explosive power.
