Sharing our love of dance with a wide audience, that is the mission of Introdans. Our top-class repertoire includes living dance heritage, contemporary classics for young audiences, inclusive encounters, and virtuosic new works by both established (inter)national creators and emerging talent. With our energetic, dynamic movement language and accessible programming, we appeal to a broad and diverse audience. Introdans believes in the power of dance: it opens new worlds and connects people to their imagination – and to one another. As a touring repertoire company, we are influential not only within our region but also on a national and international scale, performing from New York, Osaka, London and Durban to our home base in Arnhem.
Ever since the company was founded in 1971, Introdans has applied the power of dance to society. This intrinsic motivation is part of our DNA, as is our belief that everyone deserves to be seen for who they are. That is reflected in our excellent repertoire and in our interaction projects.
