About State of Fashion
State of Fashion is a fashion platform that showcases alternatives to the current fashion system. In an explicit and honest way, it connects fashion to the social issues and challenges of our time. At its core is the question: how can fashion and textiles contribute to a better world? Every two years, a large-scale international public event is organised: the State of Fashion Biennale, with a changing team of curators who each explore these themes in their own way and actively engage the public.
