A celebration of unique dance power
The HubClub by Introdans is a vibrant celebration of unexpected dance talents, where people shine because they are unique.
Following the successful 2023 edition, Introdans returns with a new show that celebrates the dance power of diverse bodies & minds. Renowned contemporary (inter)national choreographers Fernando Melo, Inbal Pinto, Conny Janssen, and Jordy Dik—along with Introdans choreographer Adriaan Luteijn—team up with a surprising cast of classically trained Introdans dancers and top performers from other (physical, social, dance) worlds. The choreographers are challenged to reimagine an existing work with this irresistible and colorful cast, giving their pieces an exciting second life.
At the heart of the HubClub is this belief: everyone is welcome, just as they are. That’s the starting point. Going beyond the norm, the makers—led by Adriaan Luteijn (concept and artistic director of HubClub)—explore how their work can evolve when dancers from unexpected worlds and with different physical realities join the stage. HubClub’26 promises to be another wonderfully theatrical performance, accessible and engaging for both young and old.
“In HubClub’23, choreographers bring out the best in the dancers. (…) Touchingly beautiful interaction.” – de Volkskrant ★★★★
HubClub’26 will premiere on February 6, 2026 in The Hague at the Holland Dance Festival.
Tour period: February 6, 2026 to April 21, 2026
Cities: The Hague, Zwolle, Arnhem, Apeldoorn, Hengelo, Deventer, Eindhoven
Bringing Introdans dancers together with performers from diverse backgrounds is a concept Introdans has been embracing for years through De Ontmoeting, a series of performances developed by Adriaan Luteijn over the past 25 years. After the successful HubClub’23 tour, we’re back in 2026—with the support of Holland Dance Festival—for a brand-new edition featuring new makers and dancers: HubClub’26.
Choreographer Adriaan Luteijn: “Performances with inclusive casting are valuable because they question the idea of physical or mental perfection.”
Luteijn received the Cultuurfonds Gelderland Culture Prize in March 2025 for his many years of inclusive work. “In his productions, Adriaan brings together worlds and people. Apparent opposites are bridged, and physicality takes on a new dimension. Dance tells the story of connection,” said the jury.
The press on HubClub’23
“In HubClub’23, choreographers bring out the best in the dancers. (…) Performers with unexpected and unfamiliar dance qualities deliver duets that are perfectly attuned to their bodily potential. (…) Touchingly beautiful interaction. (…) It expresses the human desire to be carried and lifted by another’s arms for a moment—to experience how, like a vibrant moth, you can fly far and safely without fear of falling into the trap of harsh prejudice.” – de Volkskrant ★★★★
“A contagious, inclusive party in a perfectly captured club atmosphere.” – Theaterkrant
