On Sunday, March 30, 2025, we have brought a unique blend of dance and music to life during the 2025 Piano Biennale at Musis Arnhem. Together with pianist-composer Rami Khalifé, we presented a remarkable world premiere Song of the Lands, choreographed by Jurriën Schobben – former Introdans dancer and choreographer. This new work is part of the inspiring project Songs of Travel, which explores themes such as climate change, migration, and human resilience. A captivating performance where dance and piano music seamlessly come together. The program is enriched by the powerful stories of Abdelkader Benali.
