For over 25 years, choreographer Adriaan Luteijn has been bringing the most remarkable people to the stage at the dance company Introdans in Arnhem. From elderly members of the LGBTQ+ community to young people in wheelchairs. This approach has sometimes earned him criticism. “When I started this, it wasn’t considered normal.”

The very first Arnhem (Z)Uitnacht marked the beginning of a new cultural chapter for Arnhem South with an impressive turnout of over 1,200 unique visitors. The event proved that a diverse cultural program in this district can appeal to and connect a wide audience. Never before has there been such interest in a cultural event in this area!

On December 14th, the ballet performance The Nutcracker premiered, and Go-Kids reporter Luna was invited to attend. Luna used to do ballet herself, so we were really looking forward to it! In fact, we watch a dance performance every year around Christmas. It has become a true tradition, and we feel it fits perfectly with this time of year.
