The new TV series Podium Dans Backstage sheds light on the lives of professional dancers: dance as an elite sport. Each episode captures a day in the life of a dancer working at one of the major dance companies in the Netherlands. The series starts on 30 September 2026, and the episode featuring Introdans dancer Mark van Drunick airs on 21 October 2026 at 15:15 on NPO 2.

Specially for Introdans’s ENERGY programme, Greek choreographer Andonis Foniadakis created the ballet Pulsetic, which will have its world premiere on Friday, September 25. A highly vibrant, lively dance that radiates intense energy. “Pulsetic moves like a beating heart,” says Foniadakis. “It’s a kind of collective vibration, which evokes a strong sense of togetherness.”

These were the questions that Italian choreographer Aristide Rontini set out to explore when creating a new choreography commissioned by Arnhem-based dance company Introdans, which is now being performed as part of their program ENERGY. The result of his research is Skin in Between, a dynamic dance that calls for both self-love and connection.
