Born: 2002, Turin, Italy
Education: Eko Dance Project, Turin
Experience: Eko Dance Project, Valencia Dancing Forward, Turin; Introdans
(since October 2025)
Arianna Reggio started dancing at an early age. She asked her mother if she could take dance classes and ended up at a small dance school in Turin. She was only three years old at the time. In the years that followed, she tried various other activities, but dance remained a constant thread throughout her life. After three years of training with a Russian teacher, she continued her studies in Turin at Eko Dance Project, founded by choreographer and former dancer Pompea Santoro. She trained there for seven years.
In 2021, Arianna joined Eko Dance as a company dancer. From August to December 2024, she then became part of the international dance project Valencia Dancing Forward. Afterwards, she returned to Turin and Eko Dance. In October 2025, she joined Introdans.
Several people inspired Arianna to pursue a career as a professional dancer. At the same time, she discovered her own identity as a dancer. “Of course, I took some dancers as an inspiration, but when I discovered what kind of dancer I wanted to be, I decided to go for it and give myself a chance.” Her family and teachers supported her along the way.
For Arianna, dance is first and foremost a way of telling a story. “A performance should leave something with the audience, something to think about.” That is what she finds so special about being a dancer. Performing also brings a healthy sense of tension. “You always have to stay focused, because anything can happen. That keeps me active and energised.”
Outside the studio, Arianna enjoys heading to the mountains to ski. She also surfs and loves cars and motorbikes. To relax, she enjoys cooking or reading.
What particularly appeals to Arianna about Introdans is the versatility of its repertoire. “It’s always fun to keep developing yourself through different things.”
