Looking Back on Our Company Meeting – June 2025

June 25, 2025

Yesterday, the entire Introdans team came together for our final company meeting of the season. It was a moment to reflect on a fantastic year, look ahead to exciting new projects, and say goodbye to several familiar faces.

Artistic director Roel Voorintholt presented the programme for the 2025 to 2026 season, featuring work by well-known names and a new generation of makers. With productions like Less is More, Pink Panther Party, Carmen, HubClub’26, End of Season 2026 and a wide range of interactive projects, we’re heading for another vibrant dance season, reaching audiences of all ages and backgrounds.

We also bid farewell to several remarkable people who have each contributed to Introdans in their own unique way. Dancer Fabio Falsetti is leaving the company after nine years. His final performance will be during our End of Season programme this Saturday. Dancer Vérine Bouwman is ending her impressive twenty-year dance career and will continue with us as a ballet master. During End of Season 2025 she will receive a special tribute on stage.

Jorge Pérez Martínez, who joined Introdans in 2006 as a dancer and has worked as ballet master since 2017, is starting a new chapter as artistic director of Ballett Eisenach in Germany. We also said goodbye to Dory Janssen, our finance and HR manager, who worked at Introdans for 34 years. Since joining in 1991, she has been a trusted presence in the team and played an active role in improving the collective labour agreement, pension scheme and retraining fund for dancers in the sector.

We also thanked several colleagues working behind the scenes who are now moving on to new adventures: interaction teacher Diana Vieira Alves, stage technician Dylan de Vos and dresser Elise Verhoeven. We’re grateful for their commitment, energy and dedication.

This meeting also marked the end of the internship year. We want to thank all our interns from this season and we’re happy to share that some of them will return to Introdans next season.

To everyone starting a new path, thank you for everything you’ve meant to Introdans.
