In August 2025, Introdans and De Zoomerij, in collaboration with Vilente – location Felixoord, are organizing a special dance series for residents of the Vegetarian Care Center Felixoord and local community members. During five sessions, participants will work together with Introdans dance teachers to create their own dance piece. The material is partly inspired by Introdans performances, but mostly by the wishes and personal stories of the participants themselves.

The central theme of the series is compassion – for each other, for life, and the courage to come out of your shell. Dance not only keeps body and mind active, but also stimulates creativity, connection, and joy. Introdans strongly believes that everyone can dance!

The series culminates in a presentation:

Special Dance Performance at Felixoord
On Thursday 4 September 2025, the final presentation of the dance series will take place at Care Center Felixoord. Twenty participants – residents, neighbors, and caregivers – will showcase what they created under the guidance of the dance teachers. The performance offers a glimpse into the lives of seniors, both with and without limitations, and demonstrates how dance can connect people and bring stories to life.
