Brand film Introdans

Today we proudly launch our new brand movie. A film that shows what we stand for together: the strength and dedication of our dancers, and the craftsmanship of all colleagues behind the scenes who make our performances and projects possible every single day.

The film captures everything that defines Introdans: a distinctive and versatile repertoire of high artistic quality; an open attitude that is welcoming and inclusive; dance power for everyone as a guiding principle, sharing the love of dance with a broad and diverse audience; and empowerment through dance, contributing to an inclusive society.

The film was made possible thanks to a generous contribution from Bart van Meer, former member of the Supervisory Board of Introdans and long-time Friend of our company. Upon his retirement as a lawyer and partner at Dirkzwager, he donated the funds from his farewell gift to Introdans. Bart puts it beautifully:

“Culture is incredibly important for a city like Arnhem. Essential. I have been involved with Introdans for many years. Dancers are extremely passionate people. It’s top-level sport. Top culture. Introdans has a large audience. Quality leads to full theatres and excellent reviews. But to make all of this possible, many people behind the scenes are needed. That is why it made perfect sense for me to raise money at my farewell as a partner at Dirkzwager for a brand movie that shows exactly this. Not only the dancers are the pearls. As a former member of the Supervisory Board, I am proud of Introdans and of all the people who are always ready to make every performance a success.”

Marieke van ’t Hoff, Managing Director of Introdans, also emphasises why this brand movie was truly needed. In conversations, she noticed that only few stakeholders really understand how professional and large-scale Introdans operates, not only on stage but especially behind the scenes. “Every year we create numerous dance productions, educational projects and inclusive programmes, all carried by colleagues who don’t always get the spotlight but absolutely deserve it. With this film, Introdans can visually show what we achieve together.”
