Paolo Piancastelli

Paolo Piancastelli was born in 1996 in Faenza. At the age of 16 he moved to Florence to start training in “Balletto di Toscana” under the direction of Cristina Bozzolini. After 1 year with “Junior Balletto di Toscana” he starts working for the company “EgriBianco Danza” in Turin.

During the experience in Turin he met Sofia Nappi, and together with Adriano Popolo Rubbio they created KOMOCO.

With Komoco they partecipate at competitions like “Choreography competion Hannover” and “RIDCC” in Rotterdam where they win the INTRODANS prize.

Paolo is also Komoco’s choreography assistant in contexts like “National Theater of Mannheim” and “Staatsoper Hannover”, as well as dancer and teacher for the Komoco research.
